Church News Briefly: December 31, 2021

READING ROOM: Our Reading Room will be open once again on Saturdays starting in January. NEW MEMBERS: We welcome Harriet Westman and Bob Herlinger as our newest members. Other new members who joined recently are: Phillip Hewitt, Emily Mitchell and Lance Woeltjen. We look forward to greeting them all in person when possible. MUSIC: We welcome Luana Berger as our regular Sunday soloist. She may take the permanent position as soloist if a contract is finalized next month. CHURCH DIRECTORY: The most current church directory is attached. Please note that Mark Swinney is the new Chair of the Lecture & Community Activities Committee. And, Charlotte Cross is now the Chair of the Flower Committee. BUDGET: Committee Chairs will meet with the Executive Board next week (January 6th) to review the proposed budget which will be presented to the membership for approval during our January membership meeting on the 20th. HOUSE: The carpet in the auditorium, foyer and back hall offices was shampooed earlier this week. Executive Board
