READING ROOM REQUEST: Wanted used Sentinels and Monitors! Bring them by the RR or drop them off at church with a note "for the RR" on it. AUGUST 7TH: A reminder that Committee Preferences are requested to be submitted no later than this Saturday, August 7th. NEW EVENT: Starting Wednesday August 18th the Reading Room will host a new in person and online activity at the Reading Room at 3 to 4pm weekly. The program is called "Early Workers - Their Stories and Their Writings" and it will be a combination of reading available biographical material on early workers and then reading some of the articles that they wrote for the periodicals. Come join us! SAVE THE DATE: Our next lecture has tentatively been scheduled. James Shepherd, CS will be with us on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, at 7:00 pm. More details will follow as the date approaches. SOLAR CAR: Principia College has an entry in the The American Solar Car Challenge https://www.americansolarchallenge.org/.../2021-american and will be passing through Las Vegas, NM and Santa Fe on Friday, August 6 (10am to 8pm), also 9am on Saturday then at ~10:30 – 1:00pm. Cars will be racing a loop from Las Vegas out to Santa Fe. The race finishes on the 7th in Las Vegas ~12:00 to 5:00pm. Executive Board
