Hello!
The Usher Committee has been carefully revising the Procedures Manual and has reduced the number of pages from 12 to 9 pages. One of the major changes has been shifting the teleconference tasks to the Tech Committee so as of July 1st, the backstage Usher has not had to do anything with the teleconference system. The teleconference equipment has been relocated to Fred’s office. This change provides more opportunity for the backstage Usher to metaphysically support the Readers, Musicians and the healing service.
Also, the long-awaited 2017 Christian Science Hymnal Hymns 430-603 have arrived and will
be placed in the pew racks soon. We are still waiting for the Musician’s Edition to arrive before we begin incorporating the new hymns into the services.
A big heartfelt thanks to all of the Ushers who serve generously and spiritually on our Usher Committee.
